Top row: Meat pie Australian food flag. The union jack is a sauce spread. India’s food flag has curries for the orange sacrifice and prosperity and rice for peace (the meaning of the Indian flag) and has a papad in the center. Lebanon’s flag is one you might not have got: its made out of pita bread with tomatoes and parsley on top. Britain’s Union Jack food flag is made from a scone with jams and cream on top.

Second row: Brazil’s green, yellow and blue flag is made from banana leaf, limes, and a diamond-shaped cut of pinapple. The center circle is a passion fruit. Spain’s stripes are made from rice and chorizo. Italy’s food flag, as you might guess, is pasta with two sides: basil leaves and tomatoes. The U.S. food flag is hot dogs, as you can see, and a non-food square with the 50 stars.

Third row:  That’s blue cheese, brie and grapes set out on a plate for the food flag of France. Japan’s is a piece of raw tuna atop a circle of white rice. Switzerland’s food flag is Swiss cheese atop charcuteries. And China’s stars are made of starfruit sitting upon dragonfruit.

Bottom row: Greece’s food flag is made of olives and feta cheese. Korea’s is sauces in a bowl surrounded by kimbap. Vietnam’s food flag has starfruit and a mix of lychees and rambutans. And Turkey’s star and crescent is made of, as you might guess, Turkish delights. The pattern looks to be just where they have whetted off the powder. Which ones would you eat?

Childhood Photos of Famous Musicians!

How many of these now famous musicians can you name? None of them were famous when these photos were taken. Do you know which one became “famous” at the earliest age? It’s #6. But when he became “famous” at that time, it wasn’t as a musician. Actually, he’s the only one here who became famous before he was known as a musician. The other 7 were all celebrated once people started to hear their music. Becoming an appreciated artist is extremely difficult especially if you are in an up and coming band. These good themes for bands websites will help you stand out from the crowd.

Luxury Motorhome Interior – DX3

This is a 2013 Dynamax DX3 luxury RV motorhome with two slides.

The say of this motorhome that it might be the most luxurious Super C bunk model motorhome you can buy. Don’t know if that’s true. I’ve seen a lot of options. What do you think?

These trucks when new can cost up from half a million dollars. They’re pretty expensive. Then, when you buy them new you can have them build them however you want, with as many slides as you want and whatever wood, fixtures, cabinets, upholstery, and other things. The slides add a lot of size to a parked unit. Two slides (one on each side) can double the width and so double the interior size.

Truck conversions with luxury sleepers with slides and everything are also done and there are specialty companies which do this. The price for that seems to be around $70,000 and up (for two slides and around a 30 foot vehicle conversion).

New Custom in White, Chrome and Blue

This appears to be a white Kenworth T660 (2014 model) and a 2015 Benson flatbed trailer. It seems this combo won a third place at the 75 Chrome Show In Wildwood hosted by Pride & Polish. If that’s the case, if that’s the correct identification, then this truck belongs to Frank Lagana/Phillip Williams & Sons of Plant City, Florida.

I guess because it was a third-place finish, there didn’t turn out to be a series of photos on this truck. However, it seems to have some noteworthy features. Look at those windows on the big custom sleeper unit. Tinted it looks like. So they make almost a grey appearance on the white paint of the body. The paint theme is white and chrome, and there are only a few touches of blue paint on it.

The Kenworth T660 is a model where Kenworth set out to improve on their previous “legend” trucks. It uses new technology like aerodynamic design and “luxury” creature comforts. They also, reading how the company talks about the model, seem to really like the exterior design. Do you like it? It might be too soon to tell? The W900 is popular and seems to be just right for custom Kenworths, like Peterbilt’s 379. Is it just that the T660 is too new and hasn’t got the character of age?

Because aerodynamics is one of the ways trucks are improving now — I mean, everyone wants to cut down on the fuel consumption of big rigs — it would be good if we could hit upon an aerodynamic model that also pleased truckers themselves — owner-operators, drivers, and kids on the street yankin down imaginary horns.

They’ve also had a lot of time to think about it and work over plans. So when they say they scrutinize every detail, even the headlamp shape, the slope of the hood, the faring of the chassis and how all the parts fit together, I guess they probably have a lot of experience to work with in doing that.

How they describe the exterior design is “smoothly sculpted.” Guess it’s smoother than the boxy older long noses so many like. I put a photo of a new T660 illustration with wind and how the wind / air travels around the tractor at the bottom. What Kenworth was trying to do here, it seems, is merge all the parts — hood, headlamps, fenders, windshield, bumper, fairings — into one shape to reduce aerodynamic drag. They also tried to manage the flow of air under the hood.

Those Benson trailers seem to be going for around $40,000 and up for the new ones.

Luxury Motorcoach Interior

These big motorcoaches come in a variety of shapes and sizes. What do you think of the other kind (the bus-style ones)? We’ve been featuring a lot of the nosed-truck luxury RV units. There are a lot of variety, so I mostly do these write ups on them as a kind of this-is-the-sort-of-thing so people can get an idea what’s in them, the prices (trying to do write ups on a few different price points, because when you look at the dealers and listings, there is some fair variety in pricing, units, options, etc cause you can build your own when you get them from the manufacturer which means the second-owner luxury motorhomes are also the variety of the things the original owners bought). Yeah, so there is some variety available in price and models.

This one’s a DynaMax Grand Sport Ultra 453UL Luxury Diesel Motor Coach.

Notable about this coach is it is a bath and a half. Reportedly, the first of its kind. This luxury RV is almost 45 feet long. It has 3 slides (one of the slides is a full wall slide).

There’s ceramic tile in the whole interior. There’s a king sized bed. The paint is custom. The leather seats are also custom. There are other available if a buyer wants them, like custom copper, satellite (in motion), washer-dryer stacking set, exterior fridge and or freezer, 12KW generator, and a lot of available offerings. Custom Sleeper Semi Truck

This is a big custom sleeper unit. It runs all 48 states. They haul aircraft engines and other aircrat parts of Aviation Express, which is a company in Ocala, Florida. These big custom sleeper units seem to do that. You can still make enough money, some say, if you haul expensive cargo like aircraft parts.

This truck has 1.4 million miles on it. It belongs to Kris and Sandy Martin, a New Mexico couple out of Albuquerque, and the truck is called “Bruiser.” Kris Martin didn’t always travel in big trucks. Earlier on in his life, he worked on boats and built a 47 foot sailboat he sailed around in for a while. He got into trucking, according to Kris, in order not to get tied down to a stationary office. The truck pictured is a 2000 Kenworth W900. It was originally a standard Allied moving truck.

Unique “Tuner Truck” Custom Semi

This unique “tuner truck” is one out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, belongs to the Jade Transport company there.

It’s a 2007 Peterbilt 379 Legacy (#424). The wheelbase on the truck is 310 inches (factory). The sleeper unit on it there is a 70 inch standup. The owners call this truck “High Anxiety,” and the custom truck was built to showcase Jonathan and David Dyck’s fiberglass truck fender and accessory company, Shift Products.

Truck was built by Rob Pellack and Ben Caton over the course of 2 years. Then Rob left the company nd the custom job was completed by Ben and Nathan. The conception was drawn out by John and Dave.
