How To Do Pedicure At Home In 7 Simple Steps

How To Do Pedicure At Home In 7 Simple Steps

Most women love having a pedicure done, especially when wearing slippers and open sandals are so comfortable. Having beautiful toenails also adds charisma and self-confidence. Pedicures keep feet sanitized, pretty, soft, and often also the focus of many compliments. Pedicures do not only enhance ladies’ poise; they can also be used for medical and therapeutic purposes. Of course they can also prevent diseases which come from bacteria, viruses, and pollution from the outdoors since nails are cleansed during the session. Pedicures are popular throughout the whole world, and while some men enjoy getting them, the great majority of the recipients of pedicures are women. Below you will learn how to do your own pedicure while in your own home.

Step 1: Prepare the necessary materials for the activity. Below are the items needed:

warm water for soaking

lotion

acetone

nail file

nail clippers

cuticle stick

nail buffer

cuticle trimmer

scrubbing brush

clear top and base coat

polish color

Step 2: Remove old nail polish if there is any using acetone, then soak the feet in warm water for five to ten minutes once the nail polish has been removed. Make sure that the water temperature is not too hot to avoid burning your feet. Use the scrubbing brush to remove the dirt around the toes. Then once they’ve dried, apply lotion (optional) on the feet since it softens the toes and nails.

Step 3: Trim nails using a pair of nail clippers. Use the nail file after cutting the nails; this can help to remove any excess toenails.

Step 4: Use the cuticle stick to gently push back the cuticle around each nail, then use the cuticle trimmers to cut away the excess cuticle skin.

Step 5: Add the base coat. Apply whichever color you want. Start from the center near the cuticle, and use long brushstrokes towards the tip of each nail to fill in the color. Wipe away the excess around the nails using fingernails or any clean cloth.

Step 6: Use a clear top coat nail polish to protect base coat on all toenails. This helps to keep the nail polish in place.

Step 7: Protect your feet for 5-10 minutes until the nail polish completely dries. Test the polish by touching it; if it’s already smooth, it is finished.

These are the seven easy steps on how to do a pedicure. Make sure to sanitize those tools used to prevent infection and kill any bacteria.

What would this be like? MASSIVE RV Unit!

MASSIVE RV

What would it be like travelling in something like this? It’s so big, and is pulled by a lot of power. Can anyone who experience write a description for us?

Its a Peterbilt.

Why do they call them Peterbilt? A researcher, Dylan Baranski, explained:

“The company was founded by T.A. Peterman in 1939 from the ashes of Fageol Motors.

“He was originally a lumber salesman who was having trouble getting logs to his lumber mill quickly enough. So, he started rebuilding surplus army trucks & improved with each successive vehicle he made. Sadly, Mr. Peterman died in 1945, but his wife Ida sold the company to 7 people in the company’s management, who expanded the company & made it into what it is today.”

Some interesting Peterbuilt facts, also dug up by Mr. Baramski during his research, apparently.

-The vehicles come with a wide variety of diesel engines. Anywhere from 6 cyls to 16 has been available for Peterbilts

-There aren’t two identical Peterbilts, more or less. When they’re ordered, the customer gives the specifications they want and the truck is built to those specs. Of course, there are also cookie-cutter lot trucks that are sometimes what companies might need when they have to have a truck right away?

-The front and rear of a Peterbilt is all one single unit. There isn’t add-ons to the frame.

-The frame also doesn’t have any rivets, because rivets would weaken the frame. What Peterbilt uses instead on its trucks is heavy-duty nuts and bolts. These keep the truck together. There aren’t extra holes in the frame, either, which is thought to be also in keeping with the custom-built truck idea.

This one looks like it might be a tour bus. So do some of these other ones:

Coconut oil is better than any toothpaste

Coconut oil is better than any toothpaste

A fruit that is primarily grown in tropical regions around the world, coconuts have many health benefits. It’s “water” or milk is used around the world in cooking. It also contains electrolytes such as potassium that are essential to remaining hydrated and fueling muscles. Perhaps surprisingly, it’s been found that the fats in the milk, when consumed as part of a low fat diet, increase the metabolism and causing weight loss.

There are also many other health benefits found in consuming both the flesh and drinking the milk of coconuts. One of these is that it allows better insulin intake, thus decreasing the risk of diabetes. Another benefit is that it promotes kidney health and supports thyroid health.

Coconut oil has been a dietary and beauty staple for millennia, according to Complete Health and Happiness, and now its antibacterial, antiviral properties are being advocated as a mouth cleaner.

Does this mean that you can use coconut oil instead of the toothpaste you now use? With their being a whole range, from these vegan friendly toothpastes, to teeth whitening and fluoride based toothpastes, it comes as no surprise if the use of coconut oil is not considered to be a replacement. I doubt dentists like the Fort Wayne Dentist would recommend this, but it seems like nutritionists are saying exactly that. This is only natural as they have a product to sell and promote, and in supporting this new claim they’d likely lose profits.

Why is this? It’s because coconut oil kills microbes such as bacteria, viruses, and protozoa that have a high lauric acid content. Its also a great source of healthy fats that have health benefits.

What that means is that its healthy for your mouth, according to nutritionists, in addition to providing resistance against tooth decay.

And science has discovered that coconut oil can fight candida albicans (a yeast that can cause infections).

So how do you make toothpaste with coconut oil? You simply mix it with baking soda, which is another alternative tooth paste, just without the health benefits of coconut oil. The baking soda cleans teeth and the coconut oil fights harmful bacteria, if it catches on dentists similar to Gary L. Cash, DDS might start recommending it.

Too-Big RV Tractor (update)

The Too-Big RV Trailer Condo on 18 Wheels!

This particular home on wheels has a 234 inch sleeper on it. The bright white exterior might not be for every taste, but it will be seen on the road. Hard to miss a giant white semi with a 20 foot sleeper.

This motorhome conversion was done by a company called Arvin, reportedly.

Still haven’t found any interior shots of this machine. If anyone has any, send them over to us and we’ll add them in here.

We have found a few similar units though. To see those, click these links that lead to them. Mostly they’re big white toterhomes along the same lines as this on pictured, but with enough differenced I don’t think they’re necessarily the same truck (I mean they could be the same truck at a different time and different configuration).
