This is the 2016 Evergreen Lifestyle model fifth wheel with the RS floorplan, a fifth wheel notable for decent use of space, provision of RV amenities inside and out, and a large, well-laid out bedroom area.
The kitchen of this RV is in the center, and there’s a dinette by its own window (dual pane insulated, and dual shades (night and day shades),

Further back, the 5th wheel has reclining rocker leather chairs, with all solid wood cabinetry above with solid hinges and catches.
On the other side, an entertainment cabinet (and storage cabinets and drawers, too), with a fireplace below. It has a flatscreen TV (which unhooks to swivel to be viewed from the kitchen or the rear couch).
The countertops are all corion in this trailer, and there’s a stovetop cover which is part of the countertop (it just comes out to reveal the burners). There’s a cabinet with a power outlet inside it to keep a coffee maker.
The island with the same corion countertop has storage drawers and cupboards throughout, and there are plugins underneith the island as well.
The whole fifth wheel trailer has LED lights throughout.
In the very rear of the RV, there is a seating area with panoramic windows (again with cabinetry above). The couch there is a hide-a-bed.
Towards the front of the fifth wheel trailer, the fifth wheel has a large bedroom with a large bed (options available for sizes, including up to king sized beds), with windows above the head of the bed and clothing storage. How about this luxury motorhome? It’s a Peterbilt-base diesel puller that was spotted at a U.S. Diesel National Truck Show by photographer Jack Byrnes Hill, who does a lot of work with vehicles — semi trucks, race cars, classic cars, you name it.
How would you like to have a big luxury motorhome like this one? By the way, does anyone know what company worked on this particular motor coach? It looks like it might have been ARI or Powerhouse Coach.
The cool tones of the white paint and swirling blue give the motorhome an overall “calm” impression compared with some of the more in-your-face “loud” ones we’ve featured lately. And that whtie and blue always seems to go well with the clean polised chrome around the undercarriage and on the hubs, stacks, windows, and grill.
This looks like it might be a good example of how to make an attractive toterhome coach without too much extra custom work, just with the basics, some custom paint and some polish.
This unit has two slides on the driver’s side and none on the passenger side, which is a bit unusual, although it does have a big awning on the passenger side, which it seems the owners use for the socializing side. And the owner called this custom semi truck with its luxury motorhome-style interior “The Gambler.” The owner of this custom rig came up with the idea for the name after watching the guy he works for have a good time in the casinos.
Have you ever seen headlights buried in the fender so they pop out, even in the custom big rigs scene? That’s what this truck has (like an 80s sports car). It’s also signed (the hood) by the fellow who wrote the hit song “The Gamber,” Kenny Loggins, after a concert, although getting Loggins to agree to sign the custom Peterbilt apparently took a bit of emailing. The panel paint also has images of the Gambler movie, with train robbers riding beside a locomotive, and on the other side the river boat from the movie Maverick.
It’s a 2007 Peterbilt 379 Legacy belonging to owner-operator Doug Fisher.
The custom luxury interior of this working truck has some pretty incredible features as well: The interior floor has a solid piece of aluminum painted like a roulette wheel, swinging doors leading to the big studio sleeper unit. We found a few photos of these (the dash, floor, kitchen area, and swinging doors — photo below), but if you have better ones, we’d appreciate them).
Apparently this custom truck was up in Winnipeg, Manitoba for a while. Maybe not for long, though. There’s enough interest in this rig that even though there’s less space available for load (and a bit more weight taken up by that big custom sleeper unit on it), it would probably be not that difficult to find other buyers — I’ve heard people already saying they want to by this Peterbilt. It was also spotted recently in Virginia, so it must be working down south now.

2016 Luxury Motorcoach Has a Lot of New RV Features
I was looking at this big 2016 luxury motorhome diesel pusher. It’s a Newmar model called the “King Aire” on a Spartan K3 GT tag axle chassis, which is one of the most powerful chassis used in motorhomes. This big motorhome is all controlled by a phone/computer app.
Back to that chassis. It doesn’t sit down as far, so there’s a bunch of large storage doors all around the unit leading to water, trays, and all kinds of other things underneith. And those luggage doors are all connected to a warning system that if a door is open and you put it in gear, it alerts you.
They even put a small tray in front of the water compartment to make the most of motorhome storage space.
This model has a “Gerard awning package” that goes right around the unit, including slide toppers for the electronic slides that expand the interior. Part of that awning package is an awning for the large screen TV that is on the outside of the luxury coach. And when you’re finished with your amazing motorhome, it will sit well in vehicle storage until you need it for your next road trip.
The 2016 has new graphics from previous years, which you can see in the photo above.
Also on the exterior, double brake lights/rear lights. The King Air also has a larger alternator (350 amp) to better power all the energy-requiring amenities.
There’s DEF fills on both sides of the vehicle for added convenience so you don’t have to try to park to get to one side or the other.
By the way, this company, NewMar motor coaches, were the first ones to ever put a slide on an RV, which they did in 1989, according to Newmar. The slides on these new motor coaches are flat slides. To read more about these NewMar 2016 model motorcoaches (click here).
The Kingsley Coach RV Truck Conversion Into Class A Motorhome!
So, you think you have a Motorhome? Well, (to paraphrase Crocodile Dundee), THIS is a MOTORHOME!…
Or so says the owner. Notice how the sides round off? Kind of unusual, given that most trailers feature a somewhat boxy look. Also, the owner says that this unit is fun to drive. This is one of the origin-style Kingsley Coaches, also called the LeAnn Rimes style because LeAnn’s dad Wilbur bought three of the first ones when 13-year-old LeAnn was about to go on a big tour. Back in those days, in addition to having a lot of luxury motorhome amenities for a whole music road crew and an office, they also had a tanning bed (it was the 90s when we knew tanning beds could cancer but were not yet ready to take steps to do anything about it, and tanned skin was popular in some way).
So this luxury motorhome, or motorcoach, is one of the first. Actually its the Class 8 model that the builders TimeLine Designs used for promotion, so it has the bells and whistles that show off what the custom motorcoach conversion company can do.
A couple of plusses:
Doesn’t “wallow” or lean around corners because of heavy chasis and low center of gravity. Lots of power with its 410 horsepower Cummins engine and 750 Allison Auto tranny. Also, it can be re-outfitted if someone wants to have TimeLine do that. This truck was listed for sale on TimeLineDesigns site, and I don’t see it modified, so it probably is still for sale if anyone wants to call them and inquire about it (visit TimeLine click here). The basis for this custom motor coach is a 1997 Peterbilt Class 9 Highway Tractor and the coach was also built in 1997. It had 190,000 miles when offered up as a motorhome for sale.

Is that a …. tire? Well yes it is, it happens to be a round tire. A good set of tires is one of the most important things on any vehicle, right after brakes perhaps, but we’ve always seen tires in one shape only: a disk-like flattish circle with a wheel inside to attach to an axle.
How does that work? It levitates magnetically. In other words, the vehicle has semicircular pockets underneath it, and the balls fill those pockets, but don’t touch the sides of their wheelwells because magnets within the tire and within the wheel well hold the vehicle above the tire. No part of the tire is visible from the sides of the vehicle, except what you can see underneath.
Some other interesting ideas Goodyear let us know about: these tires are customized when they’re printed on 3D printers.
Also, the tread is different. There are spongy grooves within the treads, which soften when they become wet (which deepens the grooves to let in more water). This makes them better for various conditions because they adapt to conditions. This is being conceived in terms of biomimicry. The sponges also throw the water away as the tire rotates.
The grooves stiffen when conditions are dry, so drivers have solid, hard tires for performance.
The tires also can widen or narrow to provide optimal tire-to-ground coverage.
Not only that: whereas most tires go forward and backward only, these ones are spheres, which means they can go sideways as well, whether all of them or at different angles from each other.
What else? The tires are computerized (of course). The idea is the tires will inform the cars computers about road conditions.
When you go RVing in a motorhome, what is the best way to bring along your smaller driver? We’ve seen a number of solutions to this problem.
One is to two your car, truck or SUV behind your motorhome, such as in this “Home on Wheels” where they use a towball on the motorhome that couples to an A-frame hooked to the body of the vehicle being towed.
Then there’s the option of either using an RV / motorhome that lets you park a car in the main unit (like this Travel Toy Hauler) or tow a garage trailer behind your main RV where you sleep, such as in this Luxury Motorhome.
Another option is for those who use motorbikes. When you have a bike as your smaller get-around vehicle, some motorhome owners (and those who run semis with big sleeper units like studio sleepers) have a small compartment and a ramp so they can tuck their motorbike up and away into their small bike bay. Like this custom Sleeper tractor.
Then there’s the option of having a sliding “garage” under the carriage, like in some big luxury custom motorcoaches / class A diesel pushers. In these set ups, a drawer slides out of the motorhome, the owner parks their car on it, and it slides back into the RV. Probably not as easy to use this option if you have a tall vehicle like a truck or something.
