This new triple slide offers an interior 378 square feet when the side panels slide out.

On the exterior, if you look under the awnings of these RVs, you’ll find a refrigerator rolls out of the unit for outside access. The RV also has a 27 inch TV that rolls out of under the awning with a DVD/VCR. Also, a BBQ grill and a propane camp fire.

Powerhouses all have a bunch of TVs, an office, big couches, and a ton of creature comforts inside.

Behind the unit, there is a hydraulics car lift so you can tow almost any vehicle without setting it up special for towing. “How much does it cost you every time you trade tow vehicles and tow bars,” asks Powerhouse. the lift slides in and out from under the back of the TV when its operator pushes a button. It’s rated extended at 3500 lb. lift & 7800 lb. towing. You can lift a 3/4 sized pickup from it so the pickup just runs on its back wheels.

You often see them towing boats though. These units really do have a ton of features. Bells and whistles.

Is This An RV or a TRAIN?

This is just a huge, powerful RV machine. It’s like an engine grew out of a state of the art trailer in a mobile home park and just started towing the trailer away.

“It’s a house on wheels and it has lots of power. It really was just a natural name,” according to the builder of the Powerhouse Coach Slide machine, Doug Tolbert, who built the coach so he could take all his favorite toys with him when he left the house.

The engine has 650 horsepower. It’s an auto shift and is loaded all around.

It’s 52 feet long and can tow a trailer and a boat. It tows a 47.5 foot coach. All together, it stretches to 122 feet.

“There’s probably no other coach on the planet,” says Tolbert, that can just hook onto all that, the trailer, the boat, and just keep on going.

It sleeps 8 and can be arranged to sleep 10. It has a booth dinette and a dedicated table.

It has a loft bedroom above. And on the sides 36-inch deep slides can deplo, causing the interior to become 400 square feet.

In the interior there is a bunch of tvs and other conveniences, powered by solar on the roof in addition to other means and stored in generators.

The price for one of these things is around $650,000.

How to DIY Crochet Rope Basket

There is a lot of random small stuff laying around the house,and it’s pretty messy to just lay it all down on the table or hang it all up in closets. Keeping your stuff stored well keeps it neat and tidy. This DIY crochet rope basket is perfect for organizing small things. This simple DIY will draw your creative juice and the great thing is that you only need three things to create this awesome crochet rope basket.

Materials: 1. 38m with 6mm diameter of rope (for a 22x42x17cm basket) 2. yarn 3. 5mm crochet hook Outline: Base row: Use 22×42 cm base for about 30 chains. Place the rope beside the chain to make an overlay of a few centimeters.

First Round: Make a single crochet in the third chain from the hook. Complete a few more single crochets and then pull the rope frontwards to remove overlap. Make 3 more single crochet to turn the rope around. Sides: If base is already big enough, end placing 3 single chain for every corner, just make 1sc in each st around. In making the first round, lie the rope straight up on top of the row below, which may be a little tricky.

Holders: Although, handles/holders are optional, it is nice to have them. Now when you reach a marker, leave the next set of sts unworked (I left 15sts to make mine), and instead crochet over the rope more sts than you have left unworked (I did 20 sts over the rope). Continue to sc in the sts after the marker as before.

Lock up the end: For this, just insert hook in next st, pull up a ring, yarn over, pull through one ring, then insert hook again and pull up a ring, then yarn over once again, and finally pull two rings. This DIY crochet basket can be used to store your little ones’ toys and playcards. You can also keep your hair accessories in it too! Perhaps, you make 4 -5 crochet baskets and label them to categorize each basket.

For instance, one for your kids, one for your bedroom, two for your home office supplies, and one for your kitchen towels.

Dumpster Diving: DIY Pool Made From a Reclaimed Waste Container

Creating a good dumpster pool is easy and simple and it may be made to look like a luxurious hotel pool by using a waterproof material and by carving some shapes to showcase some classy appeal. Here, experimental designer Stefan Beese creates a case for elegant dumpster pools with ‘The Pool Box,’ a 22×7 foot braced vessel lined with shielding foam lining and enclosed by boards.

Set up in the originator’s own courtyard, The Pool Box covers the vessel in a structure of timber planks finished with pressure-treated pine panels. Plain and symmetrical, this kind of exterior is a beautiful creativeness influenced by Japanese sponge-bath style baths and matches the flat clapboards of the house and fence.

The vessel itself offers a nice-looking water-tight, mechanically sound base for the swimming pool that won’t entail a great deal of upkeep and what’s really great is that it is portable! Anytime you want to move to another place, you can simply transfer it.

Prior to setting up, Beese even out the mark of the courtyard and made an extra layer of granite to stop pool elements from leaking into the top soil. The hygienic steel box was treated with an anti-rust tint and marked with half-inch high-compact foam before a custom-fit bendable pool inside layer was added.

This awesome pool is innovative and its structure is utterly unique! Many families will enjoy this type of pool as it can be transported in case they need to move to another place plus the classy design matches an expensive hotel pool.

Argosy By Freightliner: It Has Some Amazing Features

Argosy enthusiasts say that this particular truck might be the “safest on the road today.” Have you checked this modern semi truck out? Despite it being a cabover, which many truckers avoid because they don’t like to be so close to the front of the vehicle, it has a lot of built in safety measures, as well as features added for trucker comfort and use.

It’s made according to Europe’s (where they use a lot more COEs because of their length limits) safety standards — “crashworthiness standards.” The cabin is made to be strong, but is lightweight as well. They come in several roof variances.

Also, despite being a cabover and therefore more or less flat in the front, Freightliner Argosy uses aerodynamic technology. For example, the 24 degree screen.

Ergonomics as well: open the door and an electronic staircase swings out (see picture) so users can step up into the cab. It doesn’t come out 90 degrees. Just few degrees, far enough to comfortably step up.

The cabin floor is completely flat, and the cab (because there are different heights available) can have up to 79 inches of headroom.

It also has air suspended easy-lift seats, fully adjustable steering, anit-glare dash, and matress options up to 51 inches wide.

Freightliner is calling it “the world’s best workplace.” There is a lot of competition probably from semi tractor manufacturers, but those are some pretty good sounding features on the Argosy. What do you think?

The biopic is an art form that has faded from popularity in the past ten years. A biographical film usually focuses on a single important figure and by sticking to a documentary style of using archive footage and interviews, or fully recreating events with professional actors. When done right, a biopic can suck you into the world of this figure, perhaps exposing you to a whole new school of thought. With Straight Outta Compton coming soon, focusing on N.W.A in the late 80’s, I thought I’d share the Top 5 Biopics Of All Time.

5. The King’s Speech

The King’s Speech was an absolute smash hit in 2010, and for very good reason. Focusing on a little known struggle of a very public figure, director Tom Hooper shows us the more personal side of King George VI as he tries to muster the courage to deliver a nationwide speech to rouse the people of Great Britain and lift their spirits as they head into war. With understated cinematography and a script that reeks simplicity but style, the King’s Speech will be one to remember for years to come.

4. Frost/Nixon

You might wonder how you could possibly make a full feature length film about a single interview, but director Ron Howard presents the raw tension and pressure put upon David Frost as he broke the exclusive interview that would shake American politics to the core and end a presidency. The film is primarily composed of riveting conversations, thickly layered with underlying subtext, and as each question is asked, the stakes raise higher and higher.

3. Downfall

It’s an unhealthy trend that in the cinematic universe those who focus upon major world events tend to focus on the winning side, “History is told by the victors”. Not the case with the German film, “Downfall” which focuses solely upon Hitler’s last hours in his bunker. After the first half an hour the film rarely strays from the claustrophobic bunker as the sanity of those that were so convinced their regime would succeed gently edge towards suicide. Remarkable in that it refuses to demonize a man so often demonized, Downfall is one to watch, simply so that you can understand an alternative perspective.

2. The Elephant Man

David Lynch, better known for his mind bending visuals and disturbing imagery took on the task of portraying the tortured John Merrick and the woes in which he partook. An unrelenting and cynical look at how society would rather mock than care for someone who is disadvantaged, David Lynch makes excellent use of his creepy imagery to exacerbate the pain of these tortured souls.

1. The Social Network

It doesn’t get much better than David Fincher. The man exudes style and tone in such an exorbitant way that it seems strange that he would take on a biopic about the controversial character of the Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, but through a pulsing score by the ever talented Trent Reznor and a performance that will never be forgotten by Jesse Eisenberg, David Fincher managed to achieve a well measured an objective look at what sudden wealth and fame can do to someone who never expected it.

Clothing Color and Psychology: What Your Clothes Tell Other People About YOU

Buytvshirtsonline, a UK-based clothing company, has published the results of an analysis of data they collected asking thousands of people what they thought of colors, or how people perceived colors of clothes.

The company’s conclusions:

Color might be more important than you think. Partly because you have seconds to make a first impression on people, and that impression might have lasting effect.

These fashion experts advocate a fascism in black: Serious, reliable and solid. It can be worn on interviews and first dates and almost everywhere.

Pink, on the far other end of the perception spectrum, is seen as fluffy, frivolous, and maybe even lacking intelligence. You might wear pink on a very different occasion, or maybe you would wear it on a job interview or first date.

Black is the color of confidence, followed by red, blue and white (which was roughly half as favored to inspire confidence as black). Purple and pink were about half of what white was. Then green, yellow, brown and, at the bottom for confidence, orange.

Orange and brown were strongly discriminated against when considering colors for a first date.

But men and women thought differently: To dress sexy, more than half of women said they’d wear red, but only 28 percent of men.

And 56 percent of men like to see women in red. Women like men in blue or black, though (48 percent and 66 percent).

Red, though, is even more complicated still. It’s the color associated with arrogance, followed by orange and yellow. White is the LEAST arrogant color, according to people.

And red is not associated with intelligence very often. Still more intelligent than pink though, a very unintelligent color, according to those asked.

For intelligence, again black was on top, followed by blue then white. Green, purple, brown and red didn’t do as bad as yellow, orange and pink.

In essense, then, the company offered a list of occasions and the color to wear for them. Every occasion: black. However, that can’t be all there is to it, because I hate it when a woman wears black. Men look good in black, yes, but its incredibly boring when a person wears the same color always, at least as far as I think.
