Ello was launched last year after a lot of fanfare about it being like Facebook but with no ads. A lot of people joined Ello.
Actually, the beginning was kind of interesting. Do you remember how everyone applied for an invite to get an account. There were reportedly 30,000 people applying per day. Then you would receive an email some time later saying you could join, and you proceeded to make an account.
The design of Ello in minimalist-seeming. The images are very big, and you can’t just drop a link in to generate a photo and title gateway to a page.
How is Ello going for you all so far? I’m still giving it a shot.

You might see below not too many people have commented to add their accounts, so you may think “Well, why should I add mine? No one will see it.” That is the opposite of the truth.
