This “House-Box” Is Built With An Old HORSE Box

house-box

This creation is based on an old Bedford horse box in Kinton Rorrington, Montgomery Shropshire, United Kingdom. Designed and built by HouseBox. They say of their work,

“Hidden away in the secret garden of Kinton Quarry, the ‘House-Box’ is a handcrafted haven with panoramic views over the surrounding Welsh hills. Originally a vintage Bedford TK horsebox, it’s been converted into a fantastically homely space (in fact it did start its new life as a full time home), with reclaimed materials throughout and a plethora of interesting objects that each has its own story.”

Kind of interesting, right? Taking a horse box and mounting it on a truck chassis. It has a Rangemaster cooker, a large sink, fridge, cupboards, and other amenities so you can take the truck for a drive and camp somewhere.

It also uses some Green tech, like a rainwater harvester system (with filtration). It has electric sockets and a sound system. These are all solar powered.
