Don’t vaccinate your kids, Doctor Says

Don’t vaccinate

Recently, there has been a lot of news about vaccines and how safe they are. Many infants and young children have gotten sick from getting the shots, and in some extreme cases some have died. Whether it was a bad reaction that the child had, or they were allergic to the vaccine, hasn’t been determined. In the midst of this controversy, some doctors have begun thinking that perhaps parents shouldn’t allow their children to receive these shots.

“We do not need to inject chemicals into ourselves and into our children in order to boost our immune system,” said a doctor who calls himself the Paleo Doctor, Dr. Jack Wolfson of Wolfson Integrative Cardiology in Paradise Valley, AZ.

“We should be getting (the vaccines for) measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox, these are the rights of our children to get it.”

“I’m a big fan of what’s called paleo-nutrition, so our children eat foods that our ancestors have been eating for millions of years,” said Wolfson. “That’s the best way to protect (the children).”

Paleo nutrition consists of avoiding many foods that many of us have previously thought to be healthy. Some of these include grains and dairy. Some of the foods that constitute the diet include fruits, vegetables, nuts and lean meat. According to nutritionist Dr Robb Wolf, changing our customary way of eating and incorporating more of these foods that our ancestors ate has amazing health benefits. These include reversing the symptoms of diabetes, having stronger teeth and gums, and reducing the risk of getting cardiovascular disease. In addition, people that follow this diet will have lower blood sugar, more strength and energy throughout the day, and a stronger immune system.

Measles, which has broken out in California, is highly infectious. It is contagious even before people are aware they have it. About four days before a person breaks out in a measles rash, the infectious phase begins. That phase lasts 4 days after the rash outbreak. So there’s around 8 days when measles can be passed on.

The disease can float for up two hours in the air after a person who carries the disease leaves the room. However, many doctors still believe that vaccinations are the way to go with chickenpox, measles and mumps. They believe that following the paleo nutrition diet, along with getting plenty of healthy exercise, is the best way to protect children.
