These bright cabovers run for a company that delivers another kind of sleeper than we often write about here — recycled hardwood sleepers (and new ones, too, though for their business I think they provably deal more in recycled). This semi belongs to a garden company in Melbourne that delivers the railway ties (another word for “sleeper” is ties, and we usually use ties here in North America) as well as all other kinds of garden supplies.
This cabover rig is called by its onwers “Truck ‘n’dog trailer” and it’s a 2.7 meter wide, 3.5-4 meter high, 16-19 meter long load space (which translates to 10-30 cubic meters of heavy product, according to the company) per trailer.
With the two trailers these can haul around 50 cubic meters for a delivery.
They also have a number of other tractor trailers. They have a whole fleet, all painted in a paint scheme like this cabover pictured above.
They have small “tipping utes” as well as small, medium and large semi units.
The company is called “daisy’s Garden Supplies” and they have locations in Ringwood East, Carrum Downs, and Ashwood, Victoria. Visit them (click here).
