Has anyone tried to customize their cabover using a video game custom-vehicle design platform? It doesn’t seem like that bad of an idea. The old way was drawing it out freehand on a piece of paper, or using an expensive and hard-to-use cad program.
This particular custom cabover (the one in the picture above) was designed by BrianC, who shared it on modhub and smcars, and it uses a pretty complicated design process. It’s based on a 1987 Kenworth K100 Aerodyne cabover, and was modeled in Zmodeller 2, rendered in Keyshot4 and then edited in Windows Paint.
It’s called a “skin”. And another “skin” designer named Henki made one very similar, so lets give credit to both of these guys for their custom skins.
Henki made his on the video game Grand Theft Auto it looks like, which allows game players to customize their vehicles in virtual custom shop.
