Parsely contains apigenin, which is the subject of this article. Orange, onion, oregano, chamomile tea, red wine, coriander, artichoke and celery also have it. But parsley’s apigenin has been most highly-recommended in the fight against cancer.
Why? It’s concentrated.
How to make a parsley tea for this purpose:
Take 15 grams of parsley roots, chop them up finely, pour them into 200 ml boiling water, boil them for 5 minutes, close the pot, leave it covered. Let it stand 15 minutes, strain the liquid. Drink this three times per day.
Parsley is also considered to be — in alternative medicine — a strong diuretic. It’s used to remove kidney stones and to treat urinary tract infections.
The relation to lung cancer: 75-80 percent of lung cancer cases are a cancer called non-small cell lung cancer. Parsley was reported to be an effective tool against NSCL in a study published in Pub Med because of its apigenin, which can kill up to 86 percent of cancer cells.
More people die from lung cancer than die from the combined causes of pancreatic, colon and breast cancers.
