Custom Semi Truck

This custom semi truck — and this truck really is around the furthest limits I’ve so far seen when it comes to customizing — look at this semi tractor. Every part of it has customization except maybe the tires. Even the stacks have stripes to suit the overall theme. And it is a harmonized custom theme. Look how all the elements go well together.

This custom semi tractor belongs to Jerad Wittwer, and it was originally dug up and covered by PDI Diesel’s blogger. Wittwer is the owner of PDI out in Utah (St. George, Utah).

It was intended to as best as possible in customization represent the PDI company. They set out in 2012 to get it ready for the Mid America Trucking Show.

The base of this truck is a 2002 Peterbilt 379. It had a 312 wheelbase, which after it was worked on turned into a 285 inch.

It has a 36 inch sleeper unit on it with custom walls.

The interior has more custom details than I can explain, but it also has some custom luxury trucker interior features like a good stereo system, 2 20 inch TVs, DVDs.

The truck was custom built with up to 10 or 11 guys working on it in the PDI shop at a time, 12 to 14 hours per day — there are over 6,000 work hours behind this customization.
