This Kenworth is one of the trucks done by K&L Chrome Shop in Florence, South Carolina. They do a number of big rig services and RV services, and the put up these photos of this custom rig they worked on. Not a lot of details on the truck though. It’s called “Outcast” after Outcast Kustoms, the company the truck was built for. It hauls a store. Basically a trailer with two large panels (each one takes up a bout a quarter of the side of the trailer box) that silde up in the air, creating the windows of the counter for the store. They sell merchandise out of there — t-shirts and things.
The Outcast Kustoms company is located in two spots: one in North Carloina and one in South. The team behind it has been doing custom big rigs for over 10 years.
Outcast Kustoms now is a show that transforms big rigs and RV’s into custom rigs. It’s hosted by Discovery’s Velocity Channel.
Even though the custom shop is that… a custom shop… and they put up some photos of their truck, they didn’t put any details about it. I’ve messaged them and I’ll update this when I have more information on this custom Kenworth. If you know more about it, let us know that too!
