2016 hasn’t come around yet, but here is a 2016 motorcoach. It’s a MotorCoach “bunk house,” a class C semi RV with an ISX 600 horsepower diesel Cummins. These units aren’t exactly inexpensive, but they have a lot of features, which might go some way towards the price.
The price for this one is over half a million dollars US.
It’s made by Show Hauler. It sleeps 8 and has 3 air conditioners in the RV for warm season RVing. This motorcoach has 4 slide outs. From what I’ve seen, these coaches can be bought made or adapted to your vehicle, and usually they start with 2 slides. These slides can double the interior space of an RV unit (when you have one on each side, generally).
One of the things about this luxury motorcoach is its higher than typical GVWR. It has a heavy duty truck chassis. This means it has a higher than typical carrying capacity. Wind is also less of a concern –highway crosswinds and oncoming traffic gusts — because the road handling is less affected with the GVWR and chassis.
As for the interiors, these can be customized. They have multiple rooms. Some of them have car garages, or the RV tows a trailer that is a car garage. The builders of these units seem to show a lot of units that feature leather couches, wood floors, fridges, stoves, offices, large beds, shelves and cupboards, bunk beds, ceiling lights, and all the conveniences you typically see in RV conversion units.
