Yacht Island Designs have been working on a type of yacht you might be unfamiliar with.
At least, I somewhat doubt many people have ever set foot on anything like an island mounted on top of a yacht hull. Also, who has a waterfall on their yacht as this one does (in the picture above)?
Do these island yacht designs remind anyone else of the life-immitating architecture of the community development complexes around Dubai? Like the “Palms” complex where from above the layout looks like palm trees?
The yacht design team say themselves that “they like to do things differently.”
Their yachts are designed based on “innovative floating platforms.” They say that this focus — and being releived of having to focus on the things a lot of yacht designers focus on (streamlines, light weight, and other concerns, to name a few), they can pursue their main interest: individuality when it comes to the living space. I’m sure you could find some other pretty mind-blowing yachts from a high-quality yacht charter.
They also have ones that look like little parts of cities, like the Monaco Yacht (click here). To visit the company, (click here).
