Sometimes our community sends us their trucks, and some of these customized vehicles they send are things you wouldn’t even expect to see. Here’s another big surprise we recently received. It’s a big 1992 Pete 379 extended hood an all-custom motorhome conversion sent in to us by Dave Hand of Kearney, Nebraska. Check this thing out: Big, powerful, bright colored, and with enough custom to catch anyone’s eye who’s in the scene.
Dave sent us some details about his custom ride, too. Luckily so, because we wanted to know what kind of engine was in it and it’s other specifications, as well as what the story of it was.
First off, here are some of the specs:
– 379 extended hood
– 370″ wheelbase 45′
– 13 speed
According to Dave, this RV started life as a working truck and he turned it to an RV for its later years.
He calls it “semiretired”
It’s all hand-built and custom made.
As for what it’s got in it, Dave has a 800-watt Sony Receiver with Bose Surround Sound System that works well with the 46″ flat screen smart tv for living area & 22″ flat screen tv for master bedroom both with In Motion Satellite receiver! Large bathroom with extra large shower.
In cabinet, there is a marine large capacity Ice maker great for entertaining! Custom hardwood cherry cabinets with self closures! All custom Flex Steel Ultra leather seating! Apatron wood flooring.
And for RV energy and comfort, a 7000-watt generator, 2 roof-top air units to cool it on hot days. Heat for cold winter nights. 20′ Colorado Care Free Awning!
If the wife will allow a custom matching stacker trailer for the jeep!
Thanks Dave. Here’s some pictures he sent:
