Having tanned hands can feel embarrassing for some women. However, there is nothing to worry about since there are home remedies available to solve this problem without spending a considerable amount of money.
First, you can try Dry Orange Peel with Milk- This contains Vitamin C, which is essential in fighting free radicals that hinder the functions of skin cells. Just remove the orange peels and make a powder from it by grinding them. Take a bowl and place the powder into it. Get another bowl and pour the milk into it. Mix the two in one bowl to form a paste. Apply it to your hands.
Another method is a Gram Flour Whitening Pack- This is another effective means of removing tan. Prepare a paste by taking exact amount of gram flour, milk, and turmeric powder. Apply it to your hands for 15 minutes, then rinse it off with water.
Almonds, which are rich in antioxidants and Vitamin E, are also good for the skin. Prepare green and fresh almonds and grind them until it’s been turned into a powder. Add sandalwood oil to it to make a paste. Apply it to your hands. Normal almonds can be a good alternative if there are no fresh almonds available. Just soak it overnight and follow the steps.
Potato Juice is a natural skin-bleaching agent, which is effective in tan removal. Just prepare potatoes, peel it, and make a juice. Apply it to your hands for 15 minutes, and rinse it after.
Using petroleum jelly is not common way yet is effective. Apply petroleum jelly to your hands before going to sleep, and cover it with gloves afterwards. You will have a smooth skin the next morning when you wake up.
Milk Powder, Honey, and Lemon Juice- Honey is known to have antibacterial properties. Make a paste by mixing one tablespoon of honey, lemon juice, and milk powder. Apply it to your hands for 20 minutes, then rinse off.
Exfoliation removes dead skin cells is best by rubbing your body with a scrub. Lemon can also be a good choice since it is a natural cleanser. Just add a pinch of salt and scrub it on your hands.
Borax Powder with Glycerine and Rose Water have antioxidants and different vitamins which are perfect for all skin types. It helps nourishes your skin. Prepare 2 spoons of glycerine, 3 cups of borax powder, and 2 cups of rose water. Mix them all together and apply it to your hands. Wait for 20 minutes and rinse off.
Oatmeal, tomato juice and Curd- Curd has antibacterial properties good for purifying the skin. Mix the curd, oatmeal, and tomato juice to form a paste. Apply it on your hands and rinse off afterwards. Doing this for two weeks is advised.
Raw Milk- This is perhaps the simplest way to prevent tanning by applying to your hands.
Indeed, there is no need to spend a hefty amount to get rid of tanned hands. The ingredients found in your kitchen are enough to solve your problems with tanning on your hands quickly.
